Nate &#39;&#39;n Al是洛杉矶一家历史悠久的熟食店，1945年就在比弗利山庄开门营业了，从一家小小的门店开始，一直做到名声大噪，这其中当然也得多亏了住在比弗利山庄的各界明星、名流的光顾。如今，走到Nate &#39;&#39;n Al店铺里，门口挤满了排队的人，服务员用最老式的方法在笔记本上写下客人的名字和人数，按先来后到的顺序叫号。餐厅里复古的棕色皮沙发座上也都座无虚席，餐厅墙上挂满了这家餐厅的历史与荣耀&mdash;&mdash;Nate &#39;&#39;n Al熟食店从1945年以来的历史老照片、各类杂志给他们的荣誉和奖励、历史上来这里的明星的留影等。餐厅最左边有一长排的熟食柜台，排队等号的时候顺便逛逛，真的会有种看着看着就饿了的感觉。从各类熏肉、烤肉、腌肠、烤鸡、火腿、烟熏鱼肉等，到各种起司、泡菜、腌菜等等，还有配好的沙拉、汤类，均是色泽鲜美，看起来可口得很。按美国人的饮食习惯，在这里买了熟食，回家基本上就可以直接解决一顿饭了，难怪这里那么受欢迎。被安排入座之后，我点了当地朋友力推的Reuben Sandwich，有咸牛肉、熏肉和火鸡肉三种选择，我选了咸牛肉。整个三明治里，一层层鲜嫩的咸牛肉上，再厚厚得铺上一层层酸泡菜，最后盖上瑞士奶酪，用两片新鲜烤出来的面包片一夹，就是这家餐厅主打的Reuben Sandwich。非常大非常厚，但是一定要一口咬下去，把咸牛肉、酸泡菜和奶酪一起咬进嘴里，让咸味、酸味、和奶酪的香味一起在味蕾上绽放，那就是最完美的。我可以毫不夸张得说，这是我吃过最好吃的三明治。新鲜的食材加上合适的搭配，才能有这样的美味。以前一直觉得美国人不会做菜，但是这个三明治让我有了改观。整个三明治量真的很大，美式餐厅一贯的风格，再加上一整碗的土豆沙拉做配菜，午餐基本上点这一道菜就够了。同行的朋友点了一道Roasted Brisket Dinner，除了切成大片大片的烤牛胸脯肉之外，整个套餐里面还包括土豆煎饼、蒸蔬菜、荞麦泥配法式领结面、生菜沙拉。可惜蔬菜蒸得太熟太烂，牛胸脯肉过于瓷实。餐厅还送了开胃的黄瓜小碟，有腌黄瓜和新鲜黄瓜条，非常非常适合中国人口味，可以看出餐厅制作腌菜的水平应该是很赞的。如果幸运的话，去这家餐厅吃饭还会遇到好莱坞大明星，因为很多大明星都是这里的粉丝。我倒是没有遇见什么明星，不过整个餐厅里就我们两个是中国人。如果想要体验地道的美式食物，来这家试试，肯定没错。
